Training and Competitive Teams
- Ages: 4-7 (must be approved by the instructor)
- Length: 1 Hour and 30 minute classes, once a week
- Goal: Fundamental Gymnastics Team Building
The fundamentals of basic gymnastics skills are even further developed by this level. This particular squad teaches gymnasts the strength, flexibility, and skills needed in order to advance to our pre-team and junior team levels. They are taught how to master important body positions that are vital for advancing into further levels.
- Ages: All Ages
- Goals: Fundamentals and Gymnastics Skills required for competition
The pre-team level further develops basic gymnastics skills as well as strength, flexibility, and coordination and prepares the athlete for our competitive programs.
- Ages: All Ages (Instructor must advance the gymnast to this level)
- Length: 1 hour and 30 minute classes, twice a week.
- Goal: Pre Gymnastics Team Training
The pre-team level further develops basic gymnastics skills as well as strength, flexibility, and coordination. Pre-team serves as a “bridge” between our recreational program and our competitive team program. This level trains for a total of 3 hours per week on all events including vault, bars, beam floor, and trampoline. Their hours are increased, to allow for more hands-on training as well as repetitive skill training, or muscle memory.
GIRLS JUNIOR TEAM
- Ages: All ages
- Length: 2 Hours and 15 minute classes, twice a week
- Goal: Junior Gymnastics Team Training
|3:45 PM – 6:00 PM||3:45 PM – 6:00 PM|
The junior team takes the skill base they have learned in previous levels, and applies them to the skills and routines they will learn. These gymnasts are taught more advanced skills in preparation for the competitive levels. The practices are structured based off of the higher levels. The junior team trains 4.5 hours a week. Their hours are increased, to allow for more hands-on training as well as repetitive skill training, or muscle memory.
GIRLS XCEL TEAM
- Ages: All ages
- Length: 1 Hour and 30 minute classes, twice a week
- Goal: Train and compete gymnastics routines, outside of the Junior Olympic Program
The Xcel Program is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes.
Boys and Girls Competitive Teams

JUNIOR OLYMPIC GIRLS COMPULSORY TEAM (LEVELS 3-5)
The Compulsory Team trains between 9-12 hours per week, year round. The competitions vary throughout Southern California. The goals of these levels are to master specific skills and traits in order to advance into the optional levels of the sport.
